Michael grew up in Morehead City. He attended High School in
Morehead and went on for his college education at East
Carolina University. Michael graduated from ECU in 1980, and
came to work as a Real Estate Broker for Putnam Real Estate
Company immediately after graduation. He has in excess of 20
years of experience in the real estate field and his
experience and knowledge of the Crystal Coast is a valuable
asset to anyone seeking to purchase or sell real estate. In
addition, Michael is a certified North Carolina Real Estate
Appraiser. He is available to assist you with any facet of a
real estate transaction. Michael and his wife Hope reside in
Morehead City. Michael Lupton is the Broker in Charge (BIC)
of Putnam Real Estate Company.
 Carol Barefoot Dixon

Carol has been living in Carteret County since 1990.
Originally from Wilson, NC, she is a graduate of Peace
College and North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC,
where she majored in psychology with a concentration in
Business Management.
Carol obtained her real estate salesman’s license in 1991,
and broker’s license in 2001. S he specializes in
residential sales. She joined Putnam Real Estate Co. In
2002. Carol resides in Beaufort with her husband, Joe, who
is a native of Benson, NC. When not in the office, you may
see Carol enjoying a run through beautiful Historic Beaufort
or walking with Abel, her golden retriever.
 Rodney Day
Broker/REALTOR®
Rodney is a native of Carteret County having grown up Down
East on Cedar Island. He graduated from East Carteret High
School in 1967 and promptly joined the Air Force where he
spent five years traveling the world and working on a detail
serving President Lyndon Johnson. He met his wife Yvonne in
Hawaii and in 1976 they moved to Carteret County. He is a
contributing writer for a local newspaper where he has a
weekly column concerning NASCAR Winston Cup Racing. Rodney
recently retired from NADEP, Cherry Point and received his
Real Estate license in early May 2003 joining Putnam Real
Estate Co. soon after. Rodney and Yvonne have two grown
children and two grandkids who are the light of their lives.

 Linda Matsumoto
REALTOR®Originally from Morris County, NJ, Linda grew up
in Beckley, WV. She and her husband Brian, who is native to
Oahu, Hawaii, moved to Morehead City in 1996. She is a full
time agent, anxious to meet you and help with any real
estate needs you may have. When not working, you'll find her
gardening, exploring Eastern Carolina's waterways by kayak,
or walking her dog in Mitchell Village.
 Margaret Piner
REALTOR® Margaret was born and raised in Beaufort. She is the past President of the Carteret County Association of Realtors. The Crystal Coast Women's Council of Realtors awarded her the "Member's Choice" award and she has held numerous offices within the Association of Realtors.
